Written by Katie Paul

New York (Reuters)-Facebook Meta Platforms is planning to carry out the expected demobilization operations at the company next week while moving forward in the accelerated employment of automatic learning engineers, the employees told the internal notes that Reuters saw on Friday.

The notifications will go to employees who lose their jobs starting at 5 am local time in most countries, including in the United States, according to one of the jobs that Meta’s Head of People Janelle Gale.

Employees in Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands will be exempted from discounts “due to local regulations”, while those in more than ten other countries across Europe, Asia and Africa will receive their notifications between February 11 and February 18, said.

A Meta spokesman refused to comment on the posts.

The company confirmed last month that it was planning to reduce about 5 % of the “lowest performance artists” and at least some positions. The Friday note, in which Gale referred to the discounts as “ending the performance”, was reported by the information.

Unlike previous hairstyles at the company level, she was planning to keep her offices open on Monday and no updates will make more details about decisions, a generation said in her post.

A separate note, published by the Vice President of Engineering in order to liquidate Peng Fan, on Friday, requested that employees help in an urgent employment for automatic learning engineers and other “critical” engineering roles.

Van said in this post that this process will be held between February 11 and March 13.

“Thank you for your continuous support in helping us to achieve our accelerating employment goals, and better consent with our company’s priorities for 2025.”
