Hugo: High fat went and high carbohydrates went.
Ross: We have worked with Thrive and Vivo Life on food, and the University of LoughBorough where we were getting machines to measure skin folds and internal fat readings. We fell on the skin folding test for 12 weeks, but in fact the internal fat of the Rojo did not decrease as it decreased like me.
MH: What exercise you were doing during the experiment?
Hugo: It was heavily focused on running, looking at comparison between aerobic fitness with regard to the diet.
Ross: Besides some weights and body weight exercises, we were running four or five times a week. We did not do this at the same time, but if we escaped for half an hour we can meet, and we did it several times.
MHThinking is that fats are the best for heart fuel. Hugo, was that your experience?
Hugo: It is strange that the air performance for me almost declined on the oily diet. I thought I would have become very meager, but I lost weight less than I expected. I don’t have a smart watch, it was more for me to ask, “Did I feel satisfied?” It is difficult to explain, but I knew that cardiovascular fitness was improving, but my muscles felt worse and were much more difficult and mentally.

Hugo: We have conducted tests without the extreme in LoughBorough, as you run on a walking device 9 km/h, with a high speed every six -minute block. After 40 minutes, I was really suffering, while in the first sub -test before we started this challenge, I was still feeling good in the hour.
MHRoss, what is your experience that runs high carbohydrates?
Ross: The restrictions imposed on our training without a gym began to appear after the first four weeks, but the strength of the calf certainly increased; The calf in the curved knee improves approximately 40 %, which is great. I added 20 kg of pregnancy. If you add the power of 20 kg through your calf while running, you will be more efficient.
MH: What about energy levels?
Ross: I felt as if I had a lot of energy. In general, humans are more suitable for high -fat diets and science that we have done with the King’s College London throughout the year, but I felt in good condition. I stripped all the butter, dairy, oils and nuts of my diet, and I saw a great improvement in my cholesterol as well.
MHHow will these results be implemented?
Hugo: All we do is to make us more efficient in missions, so we modify it based on all the tests we have conducted over the years. I think we agree that carbohydrates are better through high density endurance, such as up to the marathon race – and even programs like Crossfit – while fat is better for endurance sessions on the multiple day when walking or running slow.
Ross: Fat is also useful in the campaigns you carry your supplies, because they are more thermal, so that you can get more energy from less weight. I think day after day, we will return to the 50/50 division because we are running for an hour only or so every day, but we move in other ways for hours and hours.
Hugo: I think this test and vegetable diet that we have shown is that a little of everything is going through a long way and what you want is a balanced diet and a rainbow.
