Food program
Meal exchange plan
A meal exchange plan is a hybrid program consisting of meal strokes, declining dollars in eating, and the flexible dollar. Meal exchange plans can be used throughout the school year, from the first day of the semester to the end of the semester. This hybrid plan is mandatory for residential students in the first year.
Meal
Meal strikes allow students to buy a full meal consisting of a main station that comes with a specific side of the station, as it provides a side snack and a drink.
The meal strikes are allocated weekly depending on the meal plan that you chose: 10, 12, 15 or 17 strikes per week. The prominent strikes in these plans are automatically renewed on Sunday at 12:01 am, unused strikes will start to the following week with a maximum of 30 strikes. The slopes end at the end of each semester.
Decrease in food dollars
All PACE meal options contain a portion of the consecutive balance of dining dollars that can be used in any of the dining sites on the campus. The money is published on the student’s account at the beginning of each semester and declining when each purchase is performed. Unused dollars at the end of the autumn roll forward for use in the spring. Unused dollars at the end of the spring do not roll up to the next academic year and are lost. All dining plans are exempt from sales tax. Some plans have a decrease in dining dollars only and there are no meal strokes.
Starting from the academic year 2021-2022, all the coming students will be transferred, regardless of the level of classes, and the dollar balances (eating and flexibility) for the current academic year and must be used by the end of the spring semester. Irrighteous meal plan assets and unused money will be confiscated. For students registered before July 1, 2021, the meal plan balances will continue to roll up to graduation or leaving the university, with gradual disposal of the graduate category for 2024. The balances of the meal plan are not fundamental and the non -fundable money will be confiscated.
