Lansing, Michigan (WILX) – The Ministry of Health and Humanitarian Services in Michigan (MDHHS) has informed the death of the influenza -related children in the state. Many other influenza deaths are under investigation, but not confirmed.
The reported deaths include children in Wayne and Jenisi provinces who have been infected with seasonal influenza (H1N1). These are the first deaths that were reported and confirmed in the 2024-25 season.
In the past, 57 influenza -related children’s deaths have been reported at the national level of the influenza season.
